Paul
Hamburg-based operator running Vibetoolstack. 10+ years building online publications and affiliate sites. 3-4 years AI-native operating.
What I do
I review and combine tools for builders. Vibetoolstack is the publication of someone who's been on the operator side of online businesses for a decade and went AI-native in the last 3-4 years. Every tool review here is either tested in a real build or labeled research-based. Every claim is dated. Every stack guide is something I would actually deploy.
What I run today
- Vibetoolstack — this site, on Astro + Sanity + Cloudflare Workers + Claude Code in the terminal
- Another active affiliate publication in a tighter niche (different audience, healthy MRR after 12 months — operator-internal, not part of VTS coverage)
- A handful of side builds in development (Cropsharing, Hypesplit) plus an agency project (Paperclip)
How I work
Daily stack: Claude Code in the terminal for everything CLI-shaped, Cursor when I'm pushing pixels, Sanity for structured content, Cloudflare for deploys. I test tools by shipping with them, not by demoing them. The methodology section on every tool review states what I tested, for how long, on which project. When I haven't shipped with a tool, I say so out loud.
What I don't do
- Sponsored content disguised as editorial
- "Best AI tools of 2026" articles that read like every other one
- Hype loops or "game-changer" rhetoric
- Reviews of tools I haven't actually tested or researched seriously
Where to find me
The work is the signal. Read what I publish here. The about page has the longer manifesto if you want it.
